Find the right card machine for your business

All of our different machines are different prices, as you’d expect. And they all give you something slightly different.

You can find the costs on the comparison on this page. But the good news is, whichever machine you choose, we’re waiving the hire fees (for new customers) for the initial three months of your contract.

We think so! Cash is no longer king, so if you want to make it easy for your customers to pay you, a card machine is probably the answer.

And of course, with the way things have been over the last year, more and more people are choosing to use their debit and credit cards or go for contactless payments, so it’s definitely a wise move to have one. It’ll also mean you can take payments online and over the phone as well, which is another handy bonus.

That’s really up to you and depends on the machine you choose and how you generally connect to the internet. The Clover Flex lets you use 3G and/or WiFi, and the Ingenico Move is either WiFi or 3G so you’d need to choose one. Then the Ingenico Desk sits on your countertop, so you’ll need an ethernet cable.

Allsorts is the short answer. But basically, you can accept credit and debit card payments from Mastercard, Visa, and American Express and then contactless payments, Apple Pay and Google Pay. That should cover just about everything.
