How to update your address

When you move house, you'll need to change the address that we hold for you. Mobile Banking is the quickest way but you can use Online Banking, visit a branch or use telephone banking instead

Access to Online Banking

    Log in to Online Banking

  2. 02

    Select 'Your Details' from the left-hand menu

  3. 03

    Select 'Update your address details'

  4. 04

    If our webchat agents are available they can help you update your address.  Click 'Start chat now' to get in touch with one of our agents or you can find the number to update your details over the phone

Photographic ID 

 

Your step-by-step guide:

If you need to change your address, you could always come into a branch and do it from there.

Make sure you bring your debit card as we’ll ask you to tap in your PIN to check that it’s you.

Then we can go about helping you change your address. The change will take place with immediate effect.

For credit card customers:

A change of address form will be completed and submitted by the branch. It will then take 2 days for the change of address to be updated.

    When you call us you will hear an automated menu where you can make a selection based on what you want to do.

    Press 4 to go through to one of our team

    A Ednites Credit Union team member will guide you through the process

    You’re done. Check your Online Banking and you’ll see it’s been updated

Call the number on the back of your card, a Ednites Credit Union team member will guide you through the process.

    Log in to Mobile Banking

  2. 02

    Select your profile using the person icon on the top right

  3. 03

    Select 'Manage your personal details'

  4. 04

    Select the arrow next to your address

  5. 05

    Follow the on screen instructions to change your address

Other places to update 

It's important to not only keep friends and family informed of your new address, but organisations like your employer too. 

We've created this handy checklist of who to update.

Update the important things 

  • Banks/ Building Societies
  • Your employer - they need to know to update your contact details, but more importantly they need to know for your payroll.
  • Other financial providers - Investments, Pensions, Insurance providers
  • Student Loans Company- make any changes to your personal account by visiting the website.  
  • Hire Purchase Providers
  • Utilities (Electricity, Water, Gas, Internet, Phone, TV Licence)
  • Inland Revenue - One of the most important places that needs to know when you change address is Inland Revenue for your taxes update this information on gov.uk. 
  • Council Tax - update your Council Tax address visit the gov.site.
  • Health Providers (Doctor, Dentist, Optician, Vet)
  • Education (School, University)
  • DVLA - you must update your driving licence with your new address
  • Gym/ Sport Club Memberships
  • Loyalty Cards
  • Newspaper or Magazine subscriptions
